The Story Behind Our “Choose You” Collection

The Story Behind Our “Choose You” Collection

“Choose you” sounds like a quote until you actually try to do it.

Because choosing yourself isn’t always cute. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable. Sometimes it disappoints people. Sometimes it means you stop being the one who always carries everything.

That’s why this collection exists.

What “choose you” really means

To us, “choose you” doesn’t mean you disappear from your responsibilities.

It means you stop abandoning yourself inside them.

It’s the moment you realize:

  • You’re allowed to rest without earning it

  • You’re allowed to need support

  • You’re allowed to change your mind

  • You’re allowed to set limits

Why we crafted this collection...

So many people are the strong one. The reliable one. The helper. The one who shows up.

And over time, that turns into a quiet habit of self-erasure:
“I’ll deal with it later.”
“I’m fine.”
“It’s not a big deal.”

Until it is.

“Choose you” is a reminder you can wear, reach for, and return to when your brain is telling you to put yourself last again.

What choosing yourself can look like in real life...

This isn’t a manifesto. It’s practical.

Choosing yourself might look like:

  • Taking the call tomorrow instead of right now

  • Eating something with protein before your mood crashes

  • Saying “I need help” without explaining it perfectly

  • Logging off when your body says it’s done

  • going quiet for a night instead of forcing availability

The Goal

The goal here isn’t perfection. The goal is repair.

To come back to yourself more often than you abandon yourself.

If you need a starting point, use this question:
“What would I do today if I treated myself like someone I love?”

That’s the heart of “choose you.” Always.
